LAMP LIGHTING CEREMONY – 2025

Lamp lighting and Oath taking ceremony of IV  Batch B.Sc. (Nursing) students was celebrated at K.S.Rangasamy College Of Nursing on 09.01.2025.

The programme was presided by Mrs.Rajammal Rangasamy, President, KSREI, with the presence of Mr.R.Srinivasan, Honorable Chairman, KSREI, Mr.K.S.Sachin, Vice Chairman, KSREI, Mr.V.Mohan, Director & Admin, KSREI, Mr.S.Balusamy, Chief Strategic Officer, KSREI.

Chief Guest of the event was Dr.S.Madhavi, Principal, KMCH College of Nursing, Coimbatore & Mrs. V.Sagunthala, Acute Dialysis and Day Care Manager, East Kent Hospitals University, NHS, United Kingdom was bestowed as the Guest of Honor of this auspicious occasion. The programme begun with the beautiful procession of students followed by prayer song and K.S.R Anthem. After welcoming the dignitaries, the lamp lighting moment of students was ignited by the Chief Guest and Guest of Honor.

Prof. Dr.K.Uthramani, Principal, K.S.Rangasamy College of Nursing had administered the Florence Nightingale Pledge to the Nursing Students. Chief Guest, Dr.S.Madhavi, had addressed the buddies about the vision of nurses by implicating 5 C’s of Nurse such as Compassion, Competency, Courage, Communication and Collaboration as the characters of nurses. Mrs. V.Sagunthala, had blessed the students by giving positive thoughts that Best Nurses are the Indian Nurses and their various role performance such as Nurse Manger, Nurse Educator and so on. Mr.V.Mohan and Mr. Mr.Balusamy had felicitated the occasion by reminiscing the first Indian Nurse Ms.Bai Kashibai Ganpat.

Following vote of thanks the programme was ended with National Anthem.
